hello!

The world feel like it is upside down. I am a Green Card holding Canadian citizen living in the United States. I often wonder why. I love my new life here and my new family of friends and colleagues, but it feel like this country is ready to implode. Returning to Canada is an option, but my life is here, and I feel like I have something to offer.

But what? What is my offering?

I have been to my share of marches and protests but peaceful protesting feels exceedingly dangerous in these times. The other day I reached out to a few craftivists who I greatly admire for help with a project that I am working on. These folks did not know me. I had never spoken to them or written them before. Each one of them immediately said they would support my project.

This support, this encouragement rejuvenated me and lit a fire. In my thinking about how to thank them I thought of a bigger plan. That plan is this site.

I am excited for this journey.
