much needed positivity

There is so much hate speech, so many acts of violence, so much misogyny, so much racism, so much negativity. My friends and colleagues and family members are visibly suffering from the onslaught of bad, scary news. So I have decided to spread love in hopes of bringing a little more light into the world.

join in?

If you want to join me on this journey it's easy. Make some hearts with your friends —they can be paper, fabric, cardboard, anything that you have lying around. I use old jeans and t-shirts and any paper I have on hand. Write, print, paint "Spread Love" in English on one side and  in any language that you might or your friends know on the other side. You can punch a hole and tie a ribbon to them if you want to hang them. Keep them on you and leave them in public spaces, give them to your server at the coffee shop, cashier at the grocery store, or someone on the subway. Document where you place, hang, and leave them and send me the pictures. I will post them to the site.
